ComputerPals for Seniors
Eastlakes, Enrolment Day for February classes is Tuesday 24th
January from 10am to 12.30pm at 17 James Street, Charlestown. For more

A sausage sizzle will be available for sale from 6.30pm and the movie will start at 7.00pm. The movie that will be screened is ‘The book of Ruth’.There will be a fee of $6.00 to cover license and small profit towards projects in Africa. The church is located Garnett Road, East Maitland. For more information contact Judy Geering on 0407 586 698 Lifeline Newcastle & Hunter are calling for people to help maintain its 24 Hour Telephone Crisis Counselling Service by becoming a volunteer Telephone Counsellor.The next telephone counselling training course commences at the end of January with a compulsory two-day suicide prevention workshop. The training then continues every Monday until the 2nd of April. Meetings are held on the 1st Wednesday of each month. New members are welcome. Visit www.belmontmensshed.org . Also the Eastlakes Youth Centre meets every Tuesday afternoon from 2.30 to 5.30. The Belmont Neighbourhood Centre is a not-for-profit organisation. The Rathmines Wangi Singers, an all-male singing ensemble, are looking for retired men to join their group, which sings at seniors’ gatherings and nursing homes / hostels in the Newcastle and Lake Area.
