“HISTORY IN PERSPECTIVE”-
PRESENTERS: DR. JAN MCLEOD, SUELLEN HOLLAND & MARK LYNCH

Jan is an historian at the University, who has a personal connection 2/4th Australian Field Ambulance in the Papuan Campaign of WW 2, presents her years of research in her book, “SHADOWS ON THE TRACK”.
Mark will speak on the topic, “KIAP TO KUSKUS” Mark first went to PNG in 1959 working in various areas. Post Independence
as Secretary to the National Executive Council.
Suellen will talk to her book “BLACK SAND AND BETEL NUT-CHILDHOOD MEMORIES OF PNG”
Her Collection of short stories recall the halcyon days of her childhood and she pays tribute to the place she will always call home
Opportunity to view the PNG artefacts at the Senta Taft Hendry Museum with Gillean Shaw, Curator
