NAIDOC Week

July 7 @ 1:30 pm - 4:30 pm

Voice. Treaty. Truth.
Let’s work together for a shared future.

NAIDOC Week is an occasion for all Australians to come together to celebrate the history, culture, achievement and spirituality of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people – the oldest continuing cultures on the planet.

Voice. Treaty. Truth. are the three key elements to the reforms set out in the Uluru Statement from the Heart. These reforms represent the unified position of First Nations Australians.

We invite all Australians to walk in a movement for a better future through raising a greater national awareness of the three key elements to the reforms set out in the Uluru Statement.

Join us to celebrate the beginning of NAIDOC Week
Sacred Heart Cathedral, 841 Hunter St, Newcastle West
7 July from 1.30pm to 4.30pm

Commencing with music in the garden and smoking ceremony to lead us into the service, followed by soup and damper.
