WHAT IS HOPE at HOME?
An online, 10-week film and event festival.
Across the course of the festival period, ticket holders will receive a new film in their library every single week, starting on the 5th of April. An accompanying Q&A with the filmmakers and/or fellow storytellers, and access to a range of online events including panels, workshops, in-conversations and more.
HOW DO I DO THIS?
Tickets for the festival are priced at $59.99, BUT you’ll have access to a 50% off voucher! That brings the price for the full 10 weeks down to $29.99.
This gets you access to:
– 10 amazing films – 1 per week over 10 weeks (those who subscribe later have instant access to earlier films)
– Access to our Festival Facebook Community, where ‘watch parties’ and other exclusive content will become special events, shared together, and engaged with together in a community experience.
Australians are facing an unprecedented challenge to their health and livelihoods in the midst of the current COVID-19 outbreak. We had originally planned a theatrical film festival (the Faith Film Festival) which was designed to bring life, hope and nourishment to communities around Australia across the month of April. Now, we’re seeing the need to bring deep hope and opportunity for connection to those same communities in an online environment.
We believe there’s a beautiful opportunity to foster togetherness, break down walls of isolation and invite Australians to come together in a way that can assist in fighting against the potential anxiety and loneliness many are facing as a result of recent events. The stories we have in our hands bring life and powerful messages of God’s intimate love for each of us. By extending these stories into a wider festival experience, we can bring many together and create a place of hope and support in the midst of uncertainty and fear.
