We are funded by our members, the financial support of donors and business sponsors.
Running a radio station involves several costs, including electricity, transmission, equipment, broadcast and government licenses, wages, rent, and everyday expenses. Even a small radio station can have significant costs. For us, the annual operating cost is around $900,000. While this may seem high, it is relatively low compared to the costs of running a commercial radio station.
You can submit your community event to our Events Calendar! For events to be promoted on-air, please submit them at least ten working days before the event.
Please note, community service announcements cannot promote events for profit. Rhema FM will edit submissions as needed for both online and on-air purposes.
Community events or groups are not eligible for ongoing on-air announcements to ensure fair access for all. If you’re interested in regular advertising, please consider business sponsorship.
Events that do not meet community service announcement guidelines may not be published or aired.
