Sitting in a camp chair at South Curl Curl Beach, Bryce Crawford doesn’t look like a global Christian voice. He looked like a 22-year-old with a simple, life-changing message:

“Love Jesus with your whole heart.”

Behind the bold online clips, sold-out live shows, and fearless street conversations is a story that almost didn’t happen.

A Night That Changed Everything

Bryce grew up in a Christian environment but struggled with the hypocrisy he saw around him. Anxiety and depression took hold during his teenage years, and at 17, he planned to take his life.

“The night I was going to do it, I had a radical encounter with Jesus,” he shares. “I prayed the most honest prayer I’ve ever prayed: ‘Jesus, if You’re real, take away my anxiety and depression.’ And I haven’t had crippling anxiety or depression since.”

That night marked a turning point. Bryce’s life, his hope, and his purpose were completely transformed.

Sharing Hope, One Conversation at a Time

After that moment, Bryce didn’t keep his faith to himself. He started small, nervously telling strangers, “Jesus loves you,” before running off because he didn’t have all the answers.

Over time, he grew bolder. He learned to engage with empathy and honesty. Now, his social media and podcast reach millions, encouraging believers and inspiring curiosity in sceptics alike.

“I’m not doing this for attention,” Bryce says. “It’s all grace. Everything I do comes from God’s love.”

Bringing Faith Down Under

Bryce has loved Australia since he was a kid, partly inspired by the iconic Steve Irwin. Spiritually, he sees something deeper.

“I really want to see this land flipped upside down for Jesus,” he says. Across Brisbane, Melbourne, and Sydney, Bryce has been encouraged by Australians’ openness.

“When we meet people who don’t believe in Jesus, they’re curious, kind, and genuinely interested. That’s why we need more people talking about Jesus.”

Faith Isn’t a Day Job- It’s a Lifestyle

For Bryce, evangelism isn’t something you schedule; it’s everywhere: the streets, the gyms, the grocery stores.

Even on tired days, he keeps going. “I remember the night that changed me,” he says. “That memory provokes me into action.”

His advice for other Christians? Start where you are. “I’m not a great musician, I can’t design, I can’t sing. But we all have gifts. Use what God gave you for His glory.”

The Importance of Having Mentors

With a growing platform, it could be easy to get caught up in self-importance. But Bryce credits mentorship and community for keeping him grounded.

“You need people who aren’t impressed by you and who will speak truth into your life,” he says. “I wouldn’t be the man, husband, and friend I am today without them.”

An Encouragement for Anyone Struggling

To anyone struggling, Bryce has one simple message:

“If you already hate your life, instead of taking it, give it to somebody who wants it. That person is Jesus. He wants a relationship with you, and He wants your life.”

Bryce Crawford’s story shows that even the darkest nights can lead to a life of purpose, courage, and bold faith. And if one thing is clear, it’s this: hope is possible, and it can change everything.
