David McGovern
David McGovern is an experienced print journalist and public relations practitioner; personally, he is a widower and the eldest of six children, including a brother and 4 sisters. It means he is looking forward to having a microphone all to himself and using that mike to help tell the stories of many individuals, groups and churches across Newcastle and the Hunter.
David’s favourite musical artists are U2 and Bruce Springsteen, his favourite book is The Grapes of Wrath and when he is not on the airwaves with Rhema, he enjoys going for Sunday bike rides, after church, and exploring his skills as a writer.
